I used to spend my life digging around in my past – running over and over again all the things I’d done wrong in this situation, all the things I should have done or said in that situation.
If I wasn’t wallowing in misery from the past, I would jump into an unreal future and berate myself for all the things I should be doing to have a future I thought I ought to have rather than a real future that I desired.
It took a long time for me to be willing to drag myself out of a pitiful past or an airy fairy future and bring myself into the present, here today.
Then it was a whole other situation to be willing to Be present in the here and now AND have an awareness of a future that I desire to create.
Choice is a muscle. When you are willing to choose and then choose again and choose again and again… choice becomes easier and more fun!
And the more choices you are willing to make in quick succession, the less time you have to make yourself wrong for any choices or pre-judge each choice or stress about making the right choice.
Simply choose, and choose again and choose again. Helps to build your trust in you. Creates a more expansive energy for you around choosing and life becomes more fun!
