Reasonable is all about logical, linear ways of thinking.
The people who make an impact on the world don’t restrict themselves to being reasonable.
They make unreasonable demands of themselves. They make unreasonable demands of what else is possible. They don’t restrict themselves to the reasonability of what has gone before, what shouldn’t be possible, what can’t be done.
They push the boundaries of possibilities.
There was a time when it was thought that it was not reasonable to think that man could fly. There was a time when it was thought it was unreasonable to run a four minute mile.
Where in your life and your business are you willing to push beyond the mediocre, push beyond the normal, push beyond the reasonable, the sensible, the playing small and create what you know is possible? What are you trying to be reasonable about in your business, that if you allowed yourself to go beyond that could create so much more?
Are you willing to allow yourself to receive unreasonable amounts of money? Everywhere you have defined what is a “reasonable amount of money”, you are restricting and limiting yourself.
Where and how else are you willing to be unreasonable about what you are choosing and what you are creating and what you are changing, that you’ve never considered?
